Oh my!  It has been a long time.  Just over a year.  Well, a lot has gone on since my last post.   I haven't been very raw, but I have added a lot more veggies to my meals.  Life just gets pretty busy. 

So I'm here again, due to some discomfort I've experienced lately.  Not just with my gallbladder, but my migraines are back.  Just to mention a couple of specific things.   I will say that my past experience with raw has taught me a lot.  Now when I have an issue, I start correcting it thru my diet first.  I purchased 2 new books on raw.  One is Ani's Raw Food Essentials and the other is Alissa Cohen's Living On Live Food.  I am gearing up for a 4 week 100% raw diet.  I have already begun re-introducing it to the family.   I have played with a few recipes to find out what they like and don't like.   One of the recipes is the Alfredo Noodles from Alissa Cohen's book. 

It was interesting.   I had to substitute for the pine nuts, but it was ok.   I would try it again with the right ingredients.   My hubby liked it (but he's such a sweety, he will usually try anything for
me ).  The kids ate it, but didn't care for it too much.   Like I said, I used almonds instead.  I will make it again and give it a better or at least more accurate review. The way I made it, it did NOT taste like Alfredo sauce. 

I'll try to remember to keep posting about my raw adventure.
